Size: 1 Test kit

Common uses: EzyTest Multi-Drug test kit is easy to use, with easy to read results that show in just 5 minutes. If you are going to be drug tested, but know you are not clean, you can now take this test in the privacy of your own home before hand, to see whether your test will come up clear. EzyTest provides a preliminary screening for the stated drugs, thereby confirming the presence or absence of those drugs at, or above, the stated cut-off concentrations. It is intended for both home and professional use. This EzyTest Multi-Drug test kit will test for the following drugs at the stated cut-off levels; Cocaine (COC) 300 ng/ml, Amphetamine (AMP) 1000 ng/ml, Methamphetamine (METH)* 1000 ng/ml, Marijuana (THC) 50 ng/ml, Morphine (MOP) 300 ng/ml. * NOTE: This test will also detect Ecstasy (MDMA) at higher concentrations of approximately 2000 ng/ml.

Instructions: Wash your hands carefully before you begin. Remove the lid from the cup using the tab. Void the sample directly in the Multi-Drug test cup until the cup is filled to at least the “Minimum fill volume” line printed on the label. If you prefer, you may collect the sample in a clean, dry container before placing it in the cup. Replace the lid by pressing all three corners down until they click into place to ensure a leak proof seal. In necessary, sign and date the security seal where indicated and place over the lid. Place the cup on a level surface and check that the temperature strip shows green, ensuring the sample is fresh and unadulterated. It may take up to 4 minutes for this to happen. Running the test When you are ready to begin the test: Place the cup on a level surface with the results window facing towards you. Remove the peel-off label from the front of the results window. You may retain the label and replace it after the test if you wish. Place the key into the socket on the side of the cup and press in fully to break the seal. You will see the sample entering the test chamber. Start your timer. As the test begins to work, you may see a red colour spreading across the Test and Control areas. This is normal and shows the test is working correctly. Read the results 5 minutes after beginning the test. DO NOT read the results more than 10 minutes after beginning the test. Wash y our hands carefully when you have finished. Interpreting the results The results panel contains 5 test strips, each of which tests for a specific drug, as shown at the top of the panel. Each test strip has a Control line (C) and a Test line (T). Approximately 5 minutes after beginning the test, a red line should be clearly visible on the Control line (C) of each strip, indicating the test has worked correctly. A red line on the Control line (C) and a red line on the Test line (T) indicate a negative result for that drug as the specified cut-off concentration. A red line on the Control line (C) and NO red line on the Test line (T) indicates a preliminary POSITIVE result for that drug and indicates that the drug, or its metabolites, is present in the sample at, or above, the cut-off concentration. If no red line is visible on the Control line (C) of any test strip, the test is INVALID for that strip. Important Note A line, however faint, appearing on the Test Line (T) should be considered a NEGATIVE result. A preliminary POSITIVE result can occur due to the presence of some substances contained in certain foods and medicines e.g. some cough remedies, inhalers or poppy seeds. The test does not distinguish between a prescription medicine (e.g. codeine which metabolises in the body as morphine) and an illicit drug. Further investigation may be required to determine how the drug became present.

Health Information: The EzyTest Multi-Drug test is an immunoassay based on the principle of competitive binding. Drugs which may be present in the urine specimen compete against their respective drug conjugate for binding sites on their specific antibody. During testing, a urine specimen migrates upwards by capillary action. A drug, if present in the urine specimen below its cut-off concentration, will not saturate the binding sites of its specific antibody coated on the particles. The antibody coated particles will then be captured by the immobilized drug conjugate and a visible coloured line will show up in the test line region of the specific drug strip. The coloured line will not form in the test line region of the drug level is above its cut-off concentration because it will saturate all the binding sites of the antibody coated on the particles. The drug-positive urine specimen will not generate a coloured line in the specific test line region of the strip because of drug competition, while a drug-negative urine specimen or a specimen containing a drug concentration less than the cut-off will generate a line in the test line region. To serve as a procedural control, a coloured line will always appear at the control line region, indicating that proper volume of specimen has been added and membrane wicking has occurred.

Kit contains: Cups with multi-drug panels, keys, Security seal label, package insert and instructions. Materials not provided: Timer.

Safety information: Keep out of reach of Children. Disclaimer: This test is intended for qualitative screening purposes only. Results cannot be used to provide evidential proof as a positive result.
